Project Performance, SRA win EPA work

Project Performance has captured the single small-business prime contract under the Environmental Protection Agency’s Information Technology Solutions — Business Information Strategic Support program.

The small business’ award is worth $128 million during the contract’s five-year span. Jeff Wilson, vice president of corporate development at Project Performance, said the deal ranks among the company’s largest contracts. The company has also won notable contracts on the Commerce Department’s Commerce IT Solutions NextGen program and a $56 million systems engineering and technical assistance contract with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

SRA, meanwhile, holds the sole large-business award under the EPA contract program. SRA’s pact is worth $148 million during five years, according to company officials. They said the company will provide IT advisory and assistance services to support the EPA’s information management policy, planning and program management requirements. SRA’s team includes more than 20 small and disadvantaged businesses.

SRA has a number of contracts with the EPA, including a blanket purchasing agreement for IT services awarded last year.

Project Performance officials also have EPA experience. Wilson cited the company’s environmental management background with both the EPA and Energy Department. The company was founded in 1991 and specializes in environment, energy, transportation and IT solutions.
