Processes unite Appian with MorganFranklin

Appian, based in Vienna, Va., specializes in business process management software and solutions. MorganFranklin, a services firm based in Herndon, Va., focuses on business process reengineering. The alliance targets both government and commercial customers.
The partnership seeks to combine Appian’s business process management software and MorganFranklin’s process improvement services. The Appian Enterprise Business Process Management Suite automates the redesign of business processes.
MorganFranklin holds a contract under the General Services Administration’s Management, Organizational and Business Improvement Services (MOBIS) program, a vehicle that covers reengineering services.
The company’s other contract vehicles include blanket purchase agreements with the Army Network Enterprise Technology Command and the Air Force Electronic Systems Center Information Technology Services Program.
The companies plan to collaborate on Sarbanes-Oxley compliance projects.
