STG names new senior VP
STG has promoted Glenn Davis Jr. to the position of senior vice president of the defense sector.
STG has promoted Glenn Davis Jr. to the position of senior vice president of the defense sector.
Davis, who previously served as vice president of the group, will report directly to Chief Operating Officer Phillip Foote.
Davis will lead the business unit, which has more than 600 employees and generates nearly $70 million in annual revenue for the integrator. The defense sector's core focus is to support Army personnel in southwest Asia, but it also oversees other Defense Department business.
“Glenn’s combination of talent and immense experience will continue to serve our company and this sector well,” Foote said in a written statement. “His track-record of delivering performance-based results for clients and his unwavering commitment to employee success reinforces STG’s overall corporate mission.”
Davis began his industry career as a site manager for Computer Sciences Corp., followed by management positions at Northrop Grumman. Prior to moving to industry, he served in the Army as an infantry officer.
