Site posts cancer studies

Details of current cancer research funded by private groups and the governments of the United States and United Kingdom are now available on a Web site, .The National Cancer Institute developed the site with the Defense Department's Office of Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs and the U.K. National Cancer Research Institute.NCI said the site will help researchers find collaborators and plan their applications. Knowing about ongoing investigations also will help cancer-funding organizations decide on future research spending.The site is searchable by cancer type, research area or funding organization.
