Web site offers info on regulations
Small businesses can find out about taxes, paperwork and agency contacts.
Small businesses now have an online resource to find information on federal requirements relating to regulations, taxes and other paperwork, and agency contacts to answer specific questions, the Office of Management and Budget announced today.
The Web site is www.business.gov/sbpra.
Legislation requires OMB, in cooperation with the Small Business Administration, to keep an annual list of compliance resources for small businesses and to designate agency contacts for businesses. OMB integrated both lists.
“This tool provides small business with one-stop shopping, helping them to better navigate federal requirements with the click of a mouse,” said Clay Johnson, deputy director for management at OMB.
The Business Gateway Initiative is one of the President’s E-Government Initiative programs designed to use the Internet for easier access to information.
