Amdex promotes Gene Kelly
As vice president of operations, Kelly will be responsible for the Silver Spring, Md.-based company’s federal and commercial clients.
Amdex, a provider of information technology and professional services to national defense agencies, civilian government agencies and the commercial sector, has promoted Gene Kelly to vice president of operations.
Kelly will be responsible for the Silver Spring, Md.-based company’s federal and commercial clients, including identifying new project areas.
The promotion reflects the company’s goal to build a talented management team in the federal IT arena, said Devinder Singh, Amdex president and chief executive officer. “It is also a reflection of Gene’s exemplary performance in executing our most significant federal contracts,” she said.
Amdex recently won a multimillion-dollar contract to manage the computer operations center for the Homeland Security Department’s Customs and Border Protection division. Kelly led Amdex’s conversion of more than 100 IT and environmental support employees to the company.
He is a graduate of the Naval Academy and holds an MBA from the University of Missouri.
