South Dakota puts most state forms on Web
South Dakota has posted more than 1,100 state forms at <a href="http://www.sd.gov">www.sd.gov</a>, and some can be filled out online. Officials said South Dakota Service Direct is the only site they know of that provides nearly all state forms online. A life-events timeline helps users locate services by age group. They also can click on standalone buttons for specific actions, such as finding a job. <@SM>

Taxpayers will file 2002 federal returns online free
The Office of Management and Budget yesterday said it came to an agreement with tax software vendors to let citizens file their tax returns online at no cost. OMB said it will publish a Federal Register notice detailing the terms of the agreement and open a 30-day comment period.
